2.9l VR6

VR stands for V-Reihenmotor (V in-line)

The VR6 pulls well at low revs with little need for progressive gear changes. Easy and almost friendly, it turns into corners smoothly and safely, however hard it is driven. Undoubtedly the rear torsion beam suspension with track correcting mounts means that even an inept driver who backs off will have trouble upsetting the rear end. Accelerate hard through and the VR6 will widen its line in a neat outward drift. This finesse always make the Corrado, and in particular the VR6 very rewarding to drive.
